HSC-3-8K1P-BL Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter for Higher Energy Efficiency and Maximized ROI
AOHAI has officially unveiled the new HSC-3-8K1P-BL, a 3–8kW low-voltage single-phase hybrid inverter designed for residential and small commercial energy storage systems. Leveraging third-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, ultra-high PV oversizing and advanced seamless power supply, the new model delivers higher power generation returns, superior operational stability, ultra-quiet performance and a lightweight footprint, offering a cost-effective and easy-to-maintain energy storage solution for distributed applications.
The HSC-3-8K1P-BL supports 200% PV oversizing to maximize users’ investment returns. The 8kW unit accommodates up to 16kW of PV input, fully utilizing solar irradiation to boost annual power generation and optimize overall ROI. Equipped with a dual-MPPT design supporting four PV strings and a 36A maximum current per channel, the inverter features an ultra-low 60V startup voltage and a wide 80–520V operating voltage range. This broad compatibility with mainstream PV modules greatly simplifies installation and improves site adaptability across diverse environmental conditions.
Powered by a third-generation high-frequency DSP, the inverter achieves industry-leading 4ms seamless on/off-grid switching. For enhanced living comfort, the 3–6kW models adopt a fanless cooling structure with operating noise lower than 35dB, enabling silent and disturbance-free operation for home and small office scenarios.
Adopting advanced third-generation SiC power semiconductor technology, the new inverter achieves significant miniaturization and lightweight upgrades. Compared with previous 6kW model (AH-6KSL-G2), it reduces volume by 24.82% and weight by 33.33%. The compact structure greatly simplifies transportation, on-site installation and daily maintenance, while the high-efficiency SiC design optimizes energy performance and lowers overall project costs.
Inheriting the proven strengths of AOHAI’s hybrid inverter lineup, the HSC-3-8K1P-BL features large battery charge and discharge current, strong instantaneous load capacity and high bypass load current. It supports parallel connection for flexible capacity expansion, reserving upgrade potential for future system iteration. The flexible GEN interface enables generator input, AC coupling and smart load management.
Built with comprehensive multi-level electrical protection, the inverter ensures long-term safe and stable system operation. It supports intelligent O&M via the HaiPower App, enabling remote energy monitoring and management. Both USB local upgrade and OTA remote firmware updates are available, allowing convenient device iteration without disassembly and effectively reducing post-operation maintenance costs.
